This is a list of the tools and products I use and can really recommend. Whether they’re cloud applications or not. My preference is with cloud applications, so that all my data is available wherever I am in the world, as long as I have an internet connection.
Absolutely the best business cards money can buy. Delivered anywhere in the world in a few days.
Evernote: The best application for remembering things, with clients that install on just about every platform except mainframe. I love it so much, I’ve gone Premium.
Remember The Milk: A simple yet effective To-Do list, with sync for your BlackBerry or iPhone. You’ll be blown away with the functionality once you explore beyond the basics.
RescueTime: Ever experience days where you’ve been hectic, but at the end of the day it feels like you haven’t accomplished a thing? RescueTime will tell you exactly what you’ve been spending your time on, and whether you were actually effective, or just “busy”.
Twitter client: Hootsuite
The moment you need to manage more than one Twitter account, Hootsuite comes into its own. With a premium account you have the ability to give other people access to the same Twitter accounts, so that you can have multiple people monitoring and responding to your network. You can also schedule tweets to go out at any times. Hootsuite also gives you the ability to manage accounts on other social networks.
DropBox: A handy utility to save you important files to the cloud. It syncs with selected folders on your local machine, and you can access your files from most of your devices. Also very handy to share files/folders, and collaborate on shared documents.
